A Marketing Consultant for Food Bloggers
My name is Omaily Lucas!
When I started my food blog it was purely out of curiosity for cooking and my passion for blogging. Little did I know that what while I was working on what I considered a hobby, others were on their way to make it their business.
Even though I often thought about monetizing my blog, somehow my blog always drove me to other destinations. It kept teaching me new things. Pushing me to experiment. To try, to test! Having an education in marketing made me even more curious.
It led to my first job as a content creator and digital marketer. Then as a (personal) brand photographer and at last as a personal brand specialist. Working with so many different brands and industries made me realize something: “I’m already monetizing my blog”.
Working with ads and affiliate networks aren’t the only way to monetize a blog. In fact, there’s no one way to grow a blog. Yet, there is one narrative being told in the industry. I aim to change that!
Breaking The Status Quo
Maybe it’s my Enneagram 7 energy or my Advocate (INFJ-T) personality, but I’ve always been passionate about creating solutions that change people’s lives. After connecting with many food bloggers, hearing their struggles, and seeing their discouragement, I decided that it was time to bring my knowledge to them as a marketing consultant for food bloggers. Help them grow their blog into a brand that provides the success and life they envision. Not by following the standard process of growing a blog that leads them nowhere, but by breaking the ceiling and carving their own path to success.
Here’s what you get when you work with me
Hope
Feeling discouraged is common when struggling to grow your blog. But here you’ll find hope in yourself and your blog again.
Love and More Love
Marketing should come from the heart. A brand should be authentic. That’s how you build connections and love. Lots of love!
Clarity
I don’t do overwhelm. Just as the kitchen is a space to decompress, this is a space where you get clarity.
Gentle kicks in the butt
I give it to you straight, but in a way that propels you forward. I hold you accountable because I believe in your potential.
Emphathy & Inclusivity
Blogging isn’t for Millenials. You don’t have a limiting belief. Your struggle is real and everyone deserves to be part of the conversation.
We go green
Not just on how we treat the planet but also how we handle the Benjamins. Growth should be a sustainable act and not a one and done.
